My bio
James B. Mason, MD, serves as an assistant professor in the department of urology at the University of Florida College of Medicine and as a staff physician in urology at the Malcolm Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Memphis, earned his medical degree at the Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee, and completed his residency in urologic surgery at the UF College of Medicine. Dr. Mason pursued traditional training in the genitourinary reconstructive surgery fellowship program at the University of Iowa Healthcare in Iowa City, Iowa. Prior to joining UF Health, he served as a staff physician in the department of urologic surgery at the Iowa City Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Iowa City, Iowa.
