My bio

Jennifer Hedrick is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who earned her Master’s degree from the University of Walden in 2019 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in crisis/trauma. She has eight years of experience working in the mental health field. She has worked in a variety of settings, hospitals, residential treatment, private practice and outpatient. She has worked with adolescents, couples and adults.

Jennifer started working for UF Health Psychology Specialties in November 2021. She currently works with people 1:1, and co-facilitates the adult DBT skills group. She currently works with adolescents, young adults and adults.

Jennifer’s clinical interests are PTSD, grief, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, sexual kinks, personal identity, life transitions and gender identity. She uses dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and prolonged exposure therapy (PE).
