Hi! I am a pediatric cardiologist at the UF Health Congenital Heart Center and a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Florida. I direct our Fetal Cardiac Program and Single Ventricle Program, and much of my work focuses on caring for babies and children with complex congenital heart disease. I have a special interest in fetal cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging, and I often meet families at the very beginning of their journey, sometimes before their baby is born. My goal is to help families understand their child’s heart condition clearly, answer their questions honestly, and make sure they feel supported as we plan the best care together.

One of the things I value most about pediatric cardiology is the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and families. I believe excellent care means not only using the most advanced imaging, technology, and treatments available, but also listening carefully to what matters most to each family. I work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support children through every stage of care, from prenatal diagnosis and newborn treatment to childhood and beyond. I am also passionate about education, research, and developing new ways to improve outcomes for children with congenital heart disease, but at the center of everything I do is the privilege of caring for children and partnering with their families.
