About me
I am a board-certified acute care surgeon at UF Health and a clinical assistant professor in the University of Florida College of Medicine.
I received my medical degree from East Carolina University – The Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina, and pursued an internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Thereafter, I completed a surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, in addition to obtaining a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee Haslam College of Business.
I remain engaged outside of practice as a member of the Southeastern Surgical Congress, Society of Critical Care Medicine, Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and American College of Surgeons Resident Member. Prior to joining UF, I volunteered with the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, American Red Cross and the American Medical Women’s Association. In my free time, I enjoy saltwater fishing, scuba diving and traveling.
