About me

Jon H. Radnothy, DO, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at UF Health Orthopaedics in Central Florida. He currently serves as the Medical Director for the Joint Center at UF Health Leesburg Hospital. Before joining UF Health, Dr. Radnothy has cared for patients in Lake County for 26 years. He built a reputation of excellence having performed over 23,000 surgical procedures including 7,000 joint replacements.

Dr. Radnothy graduated with his bachelors of science degree in biology form Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan, where he received a doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Level 1 Trauma Center Pontiac Osteopathic in Pontiac, Michigan.

Dr. Radnothy is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, the Florida osteopathic Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the Florida Orthopedic Society and the Lake County Medical Association. He has also held multiple leadership positions throughout his career.

Dr. Radnothy specializes in using the most advanced technology available for joint replacement procedures including robotic total knee and hip replacements as well as muscle and tendon sparing knee and hip replacements.
