My bio
My name is Dr. Davenport and I am a fellowship-trained, board-certified pediatric cardiologist affiliated with the Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart. I graduated with my medical degree from the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I then received pediatric residency training at UF Health Jacksonville and at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. I completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Emory University in Atlanta.
I came to UF Health after serving as the chief of pediatric cardiology at Nemours Children's Specialty Care in Pensacola. I have presented my research at the American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions annual meeting and at the Annual Conference of the German Society in Pediatric Cardiology. I served as chief of pediatrics at the U.S. Army Hospital in Berlin. During my service, I received the Army Service Ribbon, the Army Achievement Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal. I am employed by the University of Florida and practice at Ascension Sacred Herat in Pensacola.
