My bio
Pediatric nephrologist Joshua Zaritsky, MD, PhD, diagnoses and treats issues, such as kidney stones, kidney disease, kidney failure, high blood pressure, renal insufficiency, urinary tract disease and bladder problems. Dr. Zaritsky is a fellowship-trained pediatric nephrologist with more than 15 years of experience. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed journals and 10 book chapters.
Dr. Zaritsky graduated from the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology’s leadership development program, and he has served as associate editor for “Pediatric Nephrology: Frontiers in Pediatrics.” He is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Kidney Foundation. He is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology, the International Pediatric Nephrology Association, the International Society of Nephrology and the Society for Pediatric Research.
Dr. Zaritsky has received many awards, including Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Doctors for the last three years. He previously served as the chief of pediatric nephrology at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.
Dr. Zaritsky is employed by the University of Florida, and he practices at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola.
