About me
I am a board-certified transplant hepatologist and clinical assistant professor in the University of Florida Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition. My clinical interests include liver transplant and viral hepatitis. I aim to make liver transplantation and the treatment of liver disease more accessible.
After working in organ donation for several years, I became inspired to pursue a career in medicine. I earned my medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, followed by completing an internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. I remain engaged in my practice as a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
When not practicing medicine, I enjoy spending time with my children, as well as engaging in sports and fitness — hiking and watersports.
