About me
My name is Julia Salinas, MD, and I am a clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida Department of Neurology. I earned my medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Following medical school, I completed my residency in psychiatry at Jackson Memorial Health System and my fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
My clinical interests include mild cognitive impairment, or MCI, Alzheimer's, dementia and late-life mood disorders.
As a physician, my goal is to provide clinical support for patients and families experiencing cognitive and behavioral changes.
During my free time, I enjoy hiking with my dog, traveling and playing tennis.
