About me
Kailey Gilley, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Palliative Care inpatient service. She started nursing in 2009 and has spent much of her career in adult oncology. She started in bedside nursing administering chemotherapy and working with hospitalized cancer patients. She later moved into the Clinical Leader role on the oncology unit and focused on quality improvement and staff and patient education. Kailey graduated from the University of Florida with her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2009 and her Master’s in Nursing in 2013. She has been a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2013. She is a member of the Oncology Nurse Society and active member of the local chapter. She joined the Palliative Care team in May 2021. Kailey has a passion for patient centered care and helping to support patients and families while they are making care decisions.
In Kailey’s spare time, she loves to spend time with her children, husband, and dog. She is an avid reader and nature lover. She enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and volunteering with her church.
