My bio
Dr. Kimberly Beers Castillo is a family nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience dedicated to providing care to underserved communities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University and has earned her BSN, MSN, and DNP degrees from the University of Florida.
Her passion for helping underserved populations began during her time as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic. Since then, she has devoted her nursing career to serving indigent and immigrant communities, focusing on addressing health disparities.
In addition to clinical practice, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing. She teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs, with a particular passion for mentoring students and supporting their work in underserved communities.
