My bio

Kiran Upadhyay MD, is an associate professor of pediatrics and is a board-certified pediatric nephrologist. He maintains board certification in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology. After completing his fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center, George Washington University in 2011, he held academic appointments at two other universities. He joined University of Florida in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology in 2013. He is the medical director of pediatric kidney transplantation program at University of Florida, which is UNOS-accredited and recognized as a center of excellence by LifeTrac Transplant Network. His other areas of expertise include dialysis and extracorporeal therapies, kidney biopsy, hypertension, as well as management of children and adolescents with all types of renal pathologies. He is certified in biostatistics from University of California San Diego in 2020.
