My bio
Hello, my name is Levette N. Dunbar, and I am an assistant professor at the University of Florida in the Department of Pediatrics. I completed my pediatric training here in Gainesville from 2001 to 2004, where I gained comprehensive experience in general pediatrics. Following this, I pursued a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship from 2004 to 2007, further developing my expertise in the treatment of pediatric cancers and blood disorders. After completing my fellowship, I was honored to join the faculty at the University of Florida on July 1, 2007, where I had the opportunity to teach and mentor medical students and residents, while continuing to develop my clinical practice.
In September 2022, I rejoined the general pediatric department, where I now focus on providing high-quality care to children, as well as contributing to the department’s educational mission. My years of experience in both specialized and general pediatrics allow me to offer a well-rounded perspective in my practice and teaching.
