About me

My name is Lindy Krebs, MD, and I am an assistant professor in the department of community health and family medicine. I chose to specialize in family medicine because I love primary care and I like knowing a little about a lot of things. I particularly enjoy women’s health, preventive care, and outpatient procedures. I am Safe Zone certified and love providing care to the LGBTQ+ community. My philosophy is to meet patients where they are, without judgment, and work together to improve health.

I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology at Davidson College in North Carolina, and my medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. I am proud to have received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine award in medical school, and I was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honors Society both in medical school and residency. In residency here at the University of Florida, I was elected chief resident and was voted resident of the year at graduation.

In my downtime, I enjoy a little exercise each day. I especially like running, though I’m not particularly fast. I am my happiest when I am outdoors, whether that is hiking or just sitting outside at a restaurant. I am married to my husband, Jonathan, and we have a rescue pup named Archie.
