My bio

I am a clinical assistant professor in the University of Florida Division of Acute Care Surgery and a surgical intensivist at the UF Health Heart and Vascular Hospital. My areas of interest include aortic aneurysms, aortic dissections, mesenteric ischemia, vascular graft infections, sepsis, and traumatic injury. I am especially interested in the critical care of vascular surgery patients, in addition to medical student and resident education.

I earned my medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. During my time there, I also volunteered on numerous international service trips. Thereafter, I pursued general surgery residency at the UF College of Medicine, followed by a surgical critical care fellowship at UF.
