About me
Dr. Deschaine is originally from Paraguay where she attended medical school at the University of Asuncion. She then completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University Oklahoma. During her pathology training, she fell in love with both Dermatology and Dermatopathology which prompted her to pursue training in both fields. She completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology at the University of South Florida/Moffitt Cancer Center and graduated from Dermatology residency at Florida State University. Dr. Deschaine was also a research fellow at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where she studied lichen planus. Dr. Deschaine is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Dermatopathology. She is particularly interested in complex medical dermatology and integrating the clinical and pathological features of disease.
