My bio
Dr. Michael J. McTiernan grew up in New York and moved to Gainesville, Florida to pursue his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Florida. After receiving his Bachelor’s of Science, Dr. McTiernan entered medical school at the University of Florida where he later went on to complete his Family Medicine Residency. Upon completion of his residency training, Dr. McTiernan became a clinical assistant professor and medical director for UF Health Family Medicine – Haile Plantation clinic. He has been a part of clinical quality and patient satisfaction committees, and he is also a diplomat with the National Board of Medical Examiners.
