My bio
Dr. Krick is a Florida native who was born in St. Petersburg. He recieved his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 2007. He did his traditional osteopathic rotating internship in his hometown at Northside Hospital & Tampa Bay Heart Institute affiliated with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. After his internship, he decided to leave Florida to broaden his scope of medicine by going north to Pennsylvania for a Emergency Medicine residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA where he graduated in 2011. While in residency he had the privilege to be a Flight Physician for the Life Flight helicopter program at Geisinger, flying over 80 air medical missions throughout north-central Pennsylvania. After graduation he worked for two years in the community of Ocala, FL. He then had the opportunity to return to Gainesville and took a position as a clinical assistant professor with the University of Florida, Emergency Medicine Center – Springhill, in 2013.
Dr. Krick's academic interests include sports medicine related injuries, osteopathic manipulation, and trauma. He has also done research in the subject of airway management.
