My bio
My name is Natalia Prieto, and I am a nurse and certified midwife at the University of Florida Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I received my bachelor’s degree in engineering science from UF in 2002. I continued my education at the College of New Rochelle in New York in 2005, obtaining my bachelor’s degree in nursing. Following my nursing degree, I returned to UF, where I earned my master’s in nursing and eventually my Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2009 and 2020, respectively.
I am currently the director of midwifery services at the UF Health Midwifery Group, as well as a clinical assistant professor at the UF College of Medicine.
