Ryan O Parker, MD, PhD

My name is Ryan Parker, MD, PhD, and I am an assistant professor of anesthesiology in the UF Department of Anesthesiology. I joined the department as adjunct faculty in 2017 in the Division of Critical Care Medicine and Nighthawk Service. I earned my medical degree, my Ph.D., and completed my internal medicine internship at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. I completed my anesthesiology residency here at the University of Florida and then a critical care medicine fellowship as Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.

Prior to joining the department, I was an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University. I then went on to serve as an anesthesiologist in the Special Operations Surgical Team with the United States Air Force.
