My bio

I was born and grew up in Mexico City. I completed my medical training at Boston University School of Medicine in 2017. I followed that with a one-year internal medicine internship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, a four-year neurology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, and a one-year vascular neurology fellowship also at Yale New Haven Hospital. Prior to UF, I worked as a Clinical Instructor at Yale University while completing a one-year- StrokeNet NIH research fellowship.

I am fluent in English and Spanish, and I can converse in Mandarin Chinese. In my free time I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, reading, and spending time with my family. I’m an advocate of medical education and my research interests include the treatment and outcomes of neurovascular diseases, such as ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
