About me
My training started in Canada, where I earned my bachelor’s degree from Western University in Ontario, Canada, and received my medical degree from the University of Toronto. Thereafter, I completed my residency in urology at Western University, where I was named most valuable resident. Then, I relocated to Baltimore to complete an abdominal transplant surgery fellowship at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
I joined the University of Florida Division of Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery as a clinical assistant professor and transplant surgeon in 2022. I also serve as an assistant professor in the UF Department of Urology, where I treat patients with general urologic issues, including kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, hydroceles, renal masses and urologic conditions in transplant recipients.
In addition to my training, I have contributed to several publications in various medical journals, including American Journal of Transplantation, Journal of Surgical Education, Transplantation Direct and The American Journal of Surgery, while presenting at several conferences nationally and internationally. I am a member of the Society of Women in Urology and the Urologic Society for Transplantation & Renal Surgery. I am also a fellow of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and an international fellow of the American and Canadian Urological Association.
In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, being outdoors and baking.
