My bio
My name is Yasmin Mohiuddin, DO and I am a clinical assistant professor with a focus in geriatric medicine in the department of neurology at the University of Florida. I received my bachelor’s degree in microbiology and master’s degree in medical science from the University of Florida and doctor of osteopathic medicine from the University of Pikeville. I also completed my residency in family medicine at Florida Hospital East and my fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Florida. In addition to my education, I am board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
My clinical interests focus on patients with Alzheimer disease and dementia.
My goal as a physician is to optimize patient care by reducing risk of complications during hospitalization and mitigate geriatric symptoms and increase the utilization of nonpharmacological management strategies.
