My bio
I completed my medical degree at the Capital Medical University in Beijing, China and my Ph.D in neuroanatomy at University of Mississippi Medical Center. I completed a neurology residency at the University of Florida, and a clinical fellowship in neurophysiology also at UF. I joined the faculty at UF in Aug 2015. I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and also possess the ABPN advanced certification in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy.
Before my neurology residency, I had extensive research experience in epilepsy. I worked as a postdoctoral associate at Yale University and was involved in research projects focusing on the mechanism of epileptogenesis and animal epilepsy model. A series of peer-reviewed publications resulted from my research in this field.
