Description

Al Anon Family Groups have one primary purpose: to help families and friends of alcoholics. However, Al Anons 2018 Membership Survey reported that 35% of Al Anon members first came to Al Anon because of a relative or friends drug problem. The survey also showed that 78% of these members eventually realized that someones drinking also negatively affected their lives. Some research also shows that those going through a recovery program have better chances of success when supported by family and friends who are in a program like Al-Anon.

This meeting is for anyone going through addiction, in addiction recovery, or their family and friends affected by the addiction.

We encourage you to join us for an evening of new knowledge and insight, sharing experiences and messages of hope and gaining strength through support. You will learn about Al-Anon programs, effective ways to cope and resources in the community.

The event is Wednesday, April 24th from 5-6 p.m. at 4101 NW 89th Boulevard, Gainesville, Florida, 32606, Room 1901.

Please RSVP.
