Biography

John Lieb, is an assistant professor of medicine in the division of gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. Dr. Lieb earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University. He then began his post-graduate training by completing an internship and his residency in internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to the University of Florida to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology, clinical investigation and advanced endoscopy fellowship. Dr. Lieb served as an associate professor of medicine, director of endoscopy and chief quality officer for endoscopy at Drexel University prior to joining UF Health. Dr. Lieb is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, where he is recognized as a fellow, and the American Pancreatic Association. He is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
