My bio
My name is John Lieb, MD, FACSGE, AGAF, and I am board-certified gastroenterologist and an associate professor of medicine in the University of Florida Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition. Prior to joining UF, I served as an associate professor of medicine, director of endoscopy and chief quality officer for endoscopy at Drexel University.
I earned both my bachelors and medical degree from Johns Hopkins University. I begun post-graduate training by completing an internship and internal medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Then, I completed a fellowship in gastroenterology, clinical investigation and advanced endoscopy fellowship at UF.
I remain professionally involved as a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, where I am recognized as a fellow, and the American Pancreatic Association.
