• Autism Society of Florida
  The mission of the Autism Society of Florida (ASF) is to assure full participation and self-determination in every aspect of life for each individual. We will realize this vision by opening avenues of self-advocacy and advocating on behalf of others in a way that values equity, respect, dignity and diversity in all communities
• Child Advocacy Center
  Provides a child-friendly, safe and supportive environment for abused and neglected children. The Center is a place where professionals – social workers, counselors, law enforcement officers, state attorneys, victim advocates, medical professionals and others – work as a team to coordinate investigations and interventions for each child abuse case
• Disability Rights of Florida
  Offers free and confidential services to Floridians with disabilities.
• Nathaniel’s Hope
  Nathaniel’s Hope is dedicated to celebrating kids with special needs (our VIPs) as well as educating and equipping communities and churches to provide programs and assistance for VIP families.

UF Multidisciplinary Diagnostic & Training Program

The FDLRS/UF Multidisciplinary Diagnostic & Training Program is one of six regional Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System (FDLRS) Multidisciplinary Educational Services Centers funded by the State of Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS) that serve children and youth with complex learning, behavioral, medical, and socio-emotional problems, their parents, teachers, and schools.

Services

The UF MDTP is a unique resource for students, families, and school districts in the North Central Florida region. We provide multidisciplinary evaluation and consultation services for children and youth at risk for or identified as having complex medical, educational, socioemotional, and/or behavioral problems. We also provide parent education and support services, and in-service and pre-service training for educators and other professionals.
