Our physicians are faculty members at UF, expertly trained and board certified to provide adult patients with the full spectrum of specialty medicine.

UF Health provides comprehensive medical care for the entire family. Board-certified physicians offer a full range of medical services for patients of all age groups. Our physicians provide routine medical checkups and treata wide variety of health problems.

We are committed to delivering the highest level of patient-centered care and serve as consultants for cases throughout Florida. The Division of Infectious Diseases and Global Medicine strives to share the advances developed at UF Health with the international community through partnerships around the world. We currently collaborate with programs in Haiti, Zambia, Mexico, Brazil and beyond.

Infectious Disease is a medical specialty focused on the diagnosis, treatment and management of infectious diseases, also known communicable diseases, which are easily spread from one person to another.

Shands hospitals and UF Physician practices accept insurance from numerous providers, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, CIGNA, Humana, Capital Health, Medicaid and state and government services. For a full list of accepted plans visit our Insurance / Billing page.

  • Wheelchair and Adaptive Equipment Fitting

    UF Health has an adaptive seating clinic where our therapists evaluate patients for both adaptive equipment and mobility device needs.

    Social workers are part of the patient's care team and work with medical staff and nurses.
