Biography
Dr. Wang completed her medical degree at the Capital Medical University in Beijing, China and her Ph.D in neuroanatomy at University of Mississippi Medical Center. She completed a neurology residency at University of Florida, and a clinical fellowship in neurophysiology at University of Florida. She joined the faculty at University of Florida in Aug 2015. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and also possesses the ABPN advanced certification in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy.
Before her neurology residency, Dr. Wang had extensive research experience in epilepsy. She worked as postdoctoral associate at Yale University and was involved in research projects focusing on the mechanism of epileptogenesis and animal epilepsy model. A series of peer-reviewed publications were resulted from her research in this field.
