My bio

Emily Weber LeBrun is a Professor and Founding Chief of Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Florida Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Gainesville. Dr. Weber LeBrun completed her residency at Baystate Medical Center, Tufts Medical School and then completed a Fellowship in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester before returning to Florida to join the department of her birth.

The UFHealth Division of Urogynecology now has five providers (3 MDs, 1 PA, 1 APRN), caring for women with pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Weber LeBrun has served within national subspecialty societies, teaches medical students and residents and mentors aspiring fellows. Dr. Weber LeBrun serves as the Director of Surgical Services and the Physician Director of Quality for the Department of ObGyn. She has been committed to self-improvement and has channeled that passion towards operational effectiveness in her Division, Department and Institution.
