My bio
Jeffrey Johnson II, MD, is an assistant professor and chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the University of Florida Department of Otolaryngology. Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He then went on to complete his residency in Otorhinolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Johnson went back to Indiana University School of Medicine to complete his fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. He has worked with various medical outreach programs in Nicaragua, Haiti and Vietnam. His areas of interest include aging changes in the face, facial paralysis, facial trauma, head and face reconstruction and rhinoplasty.
As an academic physician, Dr. Johnson provides training to resident physicians, fellow physicians, and medical students. He also actively participates in research, teaching conferences and gives grand rounds presentations.
