My bio

My name is Jesse Kane, MD, and I am a clinical assistant professor in the University of Florida Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I am board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and I am also a certified menopause provider by the North American Menopause Society.

I received my graduate degree in biology from Villanova University in Pennsylvania before attending medical school at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Following medical school, I made the move to Florida to complete my residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UF in Gainesville. Prior to UF Health, I had a long career in private practice of general obstetrics and gynecology in urban and rural areas of Florida, Georgia and Arkansas.

I am a member of several professional organizations, including the North American Menopause Society, the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health and the Florida Medical Association. Additionally, I am a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

My clinical interests include menopause treatment, female sexual health, high-risk obstetrics, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, colposcopy and vaginal surgery.
