I later went on to complete advanced training at Stanford University School of Medicine in Advanced Surgical Oncology.

On completing fellowship training at Stanford University, I returned to Charles R. I subsequently returned to Stanford University as faculty, where I served as section chief for Sleep Surgery.

Previously, I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1983, with honors, and completed my General Surgery Internship at Georgetown University, School of Medicine, Medical Center in 1989. Prior to joining the faculty at the UF College of Medicine's Department of Otolaryngology, I was a Professor of Surgery for the Department of Otolaryngology and the Chief of Head & Neck Surgery, as well as Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery, at The Augusta University, Medical College of Georgia, where I administered my own fellowship training program in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery. I held these posts for 10 years before joining The UFL.

As an academic physician, I provide training to resident physicians, those in fellowship training, medical students, and staff.
