My bio
My name is Samuel Bundz, MD, and I am a board-certified general surgeon. I have been serving Lake County for 25 years with my wife, Angella and our 3 daughters. I specializes in advanced laparoscopic surgery for gallbladder disease, hernias, relief of reflux symptoms, cancers of the colon and other abdominal organs, breast disease and cancer, the thyroid, the parathyroid, and the adrenal system, as well as treatment of varicose and spider veins.
I completed my medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, followed by two general surgery residencies at New York University Langone – Long Island, formerly known as Hospital Winthrop-University Hospital, and Central Iowa Health System – Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
