About me
Sarah Baxley, MD, PhD, is a clinical assistant professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida School of Medicine. She received her PhD and medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She then went on to complete a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas and a fellowship in medical education at Yale University. Throughout her career, she has published an array of peer-reviewed articles and presented research at several conferences. Additionally, she is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
As a physician, Dr. Baxley appreciates having long-term relationships with her patients and enjoys treating them and their family members through all stages of life. It is her goal to offer them individualized, comprehensive options for care, including surgery. Patients come to her for treatment of cervical dysplasia, abnormal uterine bleeding, vulvar dysplasia, and vulvar lesions. She also sees patients for general and high-risk obstetrics as well as contraception consultations.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Baxley is a proud mom to her toddler and enjoys quilting, walking, playing tennis and spending time with her family.
