My bio
My name is Yin (Tammy) Fei Luk, MD, and I earned my bachelor’s in chemistry from The Ohio State University, where I graduated with honors and subsequently received my medical degree. I completed my general surgery internship and residency at University of Louisville in Kentucky. I am a board-certified general surgeon and have been providing general surgery service in the Lake/Sumter County since 2008.
I enjoy the broad spectrum of general surgery practice with special interests in minimal invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) surgeries. I use minimal invasive technique to perform appendix removal, gallbladder removal, hernia repairs as well as surgeries involving the small and large bowel such as treating diverticular diseases.
I also performs cancer surgeries of the breast, small/large bowel and skin cancer. In addition, I focus in woman health and preventive surveillance in my practice, where I perform endoscopic exam with upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
I am compassionate in helping my patients heal and thrive by delivering expeditious and quality care.
