UF Health offers state of the art infusion services with highly trained nurses, pharmacists, and physicians.
Outpatient intravenous therapy can be an effective means of preventing hospitalization in a safe environment. The UF Health Infusion Center is appointed with comfortable reclining chairs and televisions. Medical coverage is provided throughout the day by the UF Health Physicians Hematology/Oncology group, located next door to the Infusion Center. We offer infusion services for the following:
- Chemotherapy and supportive care for cancer patients
- IV antibiotics
- Pain management for those in sickle cell crisis
- Factor infusions
- Maintenance care for many autoimmune, gastroenterological, kidney, and metabolic disorders
- Maintenance care for gout
- Therapeutic phlebotomies
- Blood product transfusions
- Subcutaneous and intramuscular injections

Costs, billing, and insurance
Pay your bill online by logging into MyUFHealth. If you'd like to pay by phone, please call (352) 265-7906 or our toll-free number (888) 766-8154. You can also make checks or money orders payable to UF Health PO Box 16051 Lewiston, ME 04243-9534.
