The UF Health Leesburg Hospital Foundation is on a mission to provide access to life-saving mammograms to women in our community who might otherwise not be able to afford them. Monies raised through sponsorships and proceeds of our Live. Love. Mammo. campaign go toward the purchase of mammography vouchers.
Mammograms Save Lives
At present, there are no tests to replace these crucial and life-saving tools in the fight against breast cancer. When cancer is detected sooner rather than later, patients have a better chance of survival, a better quality of life, and costs associated with care are lower. That’s why it’s so important for us to join together to increase access to mammograms for women throughout our community.
While our hope is to find no cancer at all, when cancer does occur, our goal is to find it as early as possible. The simple act of getting a mammogram gives women the knowledge, clarity and confidence they need to live their healthiest lives.
How Can You Help?
Please make a commitment to financially sponsor mammograms for the women in our community. All sponsors will receive recognition during the month of October on the Foundation’s social media channels as well as have the chance to put a sponsor logo on digital signage at UF Health Leesburg Hospital.
- Week of Mammograms: $700 to sponsor 7 life-saving mammograms!
- Half Month of Mammograms: $1,550 to sponsor 15 life-saving mammograms!
- Month of Mammograms: $3,100 to sponsor 31 life-saving mammograms!
- Premier Sponsor: $5,000 to sponsor 50 life-saving mammograms!
