Welcoming a new baby into the world is an incredibly special experience. Our team is lucky to be able to share and help with so many of these special moments.
Our board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists, pediatric hospitalists and nurses provide compassionate care through each phase of the birthing experience. We offer spacious labor and delivery suites designed for the comfort of mothers, babies, and families.
The Life Center for Women is equipped with a newborn nursery and state-of-the-art operating and recovery rooms for caesarean deliveries. Plus, our pediatric hospitalists provide around-the-clock care to every newborn baby.

Expecting a new bundle of joy can be exciting and overwhelming! Let our clinical labor and delivery experts guide you during our complimentary 3-part class series. Get in-depth information on all stages of childbirth. Expecting moms and partners can gain confidence going into parenthood while enjoying light refreshments and interacting with the UF Health Leesburg Hospital team. Hospital tours are included with the classes.
Gynecologic Surgery

UF Health Leesburg Hospital offers advanced 3-D technology to detect breast cancer with our GE Senographe Pristina three-dimensional tomographic mammogram unit. The Pristina takes diagnostic imaging to a new level and finds more cancers than 2-D mammography alone.
In tandem with the Pristina, our SensorySuite creates a spa-like environment for patients. UF Health Leesburg Hospital is one of only a handful of facilities in Florida to use SensorySuite, in which women as well as men getting tested for breast cancer can control the sights they see on a screen, the sounds they hear, and the aromas they smell. SensorySuite provides a soothing atmosphere rather than a cold, sterile setting.
The physical features of the Pristina have soft, rounded edges to help reduce anxiety, and a handheld remote control that enables patients to set their own compression level. Patients are able to get better compression and comfort level when they set it themselves — and the Pristina unit is still able to produce such high-quality images.
Schedule a mammogram
