Volunteering

To volunteer at UF The Villages® Hospital, call (352) 751-8176.

Members of UF Health The Villages® Hospital Auxiliary function in many rewarding capacities including information desk hosts, retail specialists, patient advocates, goodwill ambassadors, and special projects. Over 700 volunteers currently serve in this dynamic group of men and women and provide thousands of hours of service to the hospital annually. Social functions and networking are a big part of this volunteer group!

Our volunteers are carefully screened and placed in assignments. This process may take several weeks and includes background checks, TB (tuberculosis) skin tests, and mandatory orientation. We ask that all volunteers make a commitment of at least four hours per week.
