Sports Physical Therapy

Sports physical therapy provides athletes with an evidence-based and challenging rehabilitation program to return to their previous high level of function and performance. Sports physical therapists are specialty-trained in acute injury management, exercises and techniques to rehab the advanced athlete, injury prevention, sports performance and return to sport programs. UF Health has board-certified sports physical therapists who are the providers of physical therapy for the University of Florida Gators athletes. We work with athletes of all age and skill levels from the novice athlete just getting started in their journey, to the professional athlete returning to professional leagues and Olympic competition.
