Lauren Indelicato, DNP, APRN, CPNP AC/PC

Lauren Indelicato, DNP, APRN, has been a nurse practitioner with the UF Division of Pediatric Surgery since 2007. She focuses on all aspects of pediatric surgery, but has a special interest in pediatric burns and trauma. She is double board-certified as a nurse practitioner in pediatric primary care and pediatric acute care by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science from James Madison University in 2002, she went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004 and her Master of Science in Nursing in pediatric primary care from the University of Florida in 2005. After working for the pediatric surgery division for two years, she got a second master’s degree and became board-certified as a pediatric acute care nurse practitioner. She then went on to complete a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2013, where she completed her research project on the Feasibility Analysis of an Advanced Practice Nurse Managed Pediatric Ambulatory Minor Burn and Wound Clinic.

Lauren started her nursing career at UF Health Shands in 2004 on an adult medical/surgical unit for orthopaedic and vascular patients. She then went on to be a nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit at UF Health prior to joining the pediatric surgery team in 2007. She is certified in pediatric advanced life support and advanced burn life support. She is a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the American Burn Association.
