Orthopaedic surgery is the branch of medicine that deals with the prevention or correction of injuries or disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints and ligaments.

At UF Health, we specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of injuries and conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. Our orthopaedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians are trained in the latest surgical techniques and treatments, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and equipment to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients. We offer one of Florida's most established orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine programs for comprehensive muscle, bone and joint care through our network of care facilities in Gainesville, Central Florida, Ocala and Deltona.

We understand that injuries and conditions related to the musculoskeletal system can be painful and disruptive to daily life. That's why we strive to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to all of our patients, no matter the severity of their condition.
