If you have questions or concerns about the quality of care you or a family member is receiving or has received at our hospital, please speak with your nurse, nurse manager or physician. We encourage your feedback to improve care.

If you feel that an issue hasn't been resolved to your satisfaction by your care team, please contact a patient advocate. You may call at any time during or after your stay.
After your hospital stay, you may be asked to complete an HCAHPS survey. This survey measures and reports public satisfaction for hospitals across the United States.
During your stay, the doctors, nurses and staff of UF Health Shands Hospital will treat you and your family as partners in your own care. One important way that you can be involved is to speak up. Ask questions, voice your concerns and don’t be afraid to raise any issues relating not only to your care and treatment, but also to overall hospital services.
